Seemed like there's a conspiracy to stop too many cars travel down from Jasper to Vancouver (one way). After much surfing on the net and a couple of calls we've finally settled a price with carhire3000 who offered a small discount off the internet price. The downside of it is we have to pay 300 CAD when we pick it up... in addition to the hire fee.
There was one broker who checked and informed me that they don't allow drives from Jasper to Vancouver.
Just watched Into The Wild about a young man who travels in to the wild of Alaska and tries to live off the land....unfortunately he eats a plant which leads to his death, lesson there stick to restaurants. CW
