New Zealand flights now booked

Bec made a surprise return from Kos last week, so this has meant we've been able to sort out dates for our trip to New Zealand.
Going from Heathrow on Sunday 7th November... first stop Hong Kong, then onto Auckland after a couple days stopover. Returning out of Auckland on Wed 8th December and heading to San Francisco for 3 nights and get home on Sunday 12th December.

Saturday 18th Sept - the Via Canada train (22.00)
Tuesday 21st Sept - arrive by train in Jasper (13.00)
Wednesday 22nd Sept - car hire drive to Banff
Friday 24th Sept - drive on to Kamloops
Saturday 25th Sept - drive to Seattle
Tuesday 28th Sept - Drive north to Anacortes
Thursday 30th Sept - drive into Vancouver
Sunday 3rd Oct - fly from Vancouver..... home

show in Toronto - tickets booked!!

Have been able to book tickets for a show in Toronto on Friday 17th September. Banana Shpeel.... performed by Cirque du Soleil.

Whale watching now booked

Due to a slight change of plans with the trip down from Jasper, we are now heading straight into Seattle after Kamloops.
Which meant that our return to Vancouver has left us with opportunity to stop off in Anacortes for a couple of nights and book a boat trip to go Whale watching.... and all at the very reasonable cost of around £55 each...

revised car hire

Due to some very helpful assistance from Caroline's relatives in Canada it appears that we will not be requiring a car until we get to Jasper, after our train journey from Toronto. The car hire has been canceled and we are grateful to everyone's help out in Canada already... and we've not even got there yet!

a few more hotels

Well the 'travel jigsaw' is slowly coming together. Having sorted the train ride from Toronto to Jasper out a few months back, we've managed to sort out our tour de force from Jasper.
Last night booked hotels in Banff (2 nights), then onto Kamloops (1 night) and onto Harrison Hot Springs for another night.
We plan to then travel across country and catch the ferry to Friday Harbour for a few days.
